Texas High School Football - Brazos trounces Yorktown
August 26, 2022: Yorktown, TX 78164 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Brazos Cougars football squad scored a big 55-21 victory over the Yorktown Wildcats.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Kountze Lions (Kountze, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 2. Brazos will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 22-12 non-league loss to Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX).
With the loss, Yorktown drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Weimar (Weimar, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 2.
