West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS), 35-16 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, West Lauderdale improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Meridian (Meridian, MS) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-2. Meridian won 55-17 in their recent non-league test against Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS)

With the loss, Neshoba Central drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rockets host Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS) to battle the Jaguars in a 5A Region 2 test on Friday, September 16. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-0.
