The crowd at Friday's league contest between the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets (Mobile, AL) and the host Blount Leopards (Eight Mile, AL), observed McGill-Toolen's football squad bounce Blount by a count of 48-14.

The Yellowjackets now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Saraland for a 6A Region 1 contest on Friday, October 28. McGill-Toolen will play a Spartans squad coming off a 27-26 league loss to Theodore (Theodore, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 8-1.

Coming up next, the Leopards play the Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL) in a 6A Region 1 contest, on Friday, October 28. Blount will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 45-6 league loss to Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL).
