September 16, 2022: McKees Rocks, PA 15136 The Montour Spartans football team (McKees Rocks, PA), was ripped 33-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA)
The Quips (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Allegheny (Imperial, PA). The Indians come into the WPIAL AAAA Parkway challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, West Allegheny trounced New Castle (New Castle, PA), 52-14, in a league challenge.
The Spartans now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ambridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 23. Montour will meet a Bridgers team coming off a 31-14 league loss to Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Bridgers record now stands at 2-3.
