February 1, 2024: Burgin, KY 40330 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY) and the host Burgin Bulldogs (Burgin, KY), saw Bluegrass United's basketball squad hold off Burgin by a count of 67-65.
With the victory, Bluegrass United upgrades its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Bluehawks host Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool (Cincinnati, OH) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool lost 77-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Woodward (Cincinnati, OH)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Francis Parker Wyverns (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Burgin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The Wyverns come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 68-49 non-league loss to Valley (Louisville, KY).
