The Bertie Falcons tipped the host Washington County Panthers basketball team by a final score of 48-46 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC) in a 1A Four Rivers game, on Monday, February 19. Bertie will attempt to move on its 19-4 season record. The Red Barons enter the game with a 5-16 record after their 78-36 league loss to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC).
