California High School Basketball - Vincent Memorial holds off Valley Center

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) and the visiting Valley Center Jaguars (Valley Center, CA), saw Vincent Memorial's basketball squad hold off Valley Center by a tally of 59-58.

With the victory, Vincent Memorial improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Scots host Central (El Centro, CA) to confront the Spartans in a Imperial Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Central won 72-62 in their recent non-league challenge against West Hills (Santee, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) in a Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Valley Center will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 63-50 non-league loss to Poway (Poway, CA).
