In Friday's league outing, the Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX) basketball squad nipped the visiting Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX), by a margin of 76-74.

The Mustangs (18-9) will now prepare for their outing against North Garland (Garland, TX). The Raiders go into the 6A Region II District 9 outing with a 6-17 record. In their last outing, North Garland was tipped by Naaman Forest (Garland, TX), 58-56, in a league outing.

The Pirates now own a 20-9 record. They play next when they host Garland for a 6A Region II District 9 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Wylie will clash with a Owls squad coming off a 65-41 league win over South Garland (Garland, TX). The Owls record now stands at 9-10.
