Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Fairfield Indians (Fairfield, OH) and the visiting Princeton Vikings (Cincinnati, OH), saw Fairfield's basketball squad hold off Princeton by a tally of 48-44.

With the victory, Fairfield improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Indians host St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. St. Vincent-St. Mary lost 74-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy (Dallas, TX)
