Illinois High School Basketball - St. Anthony overwhelms Neoga
January 9, 2024: Neoga, IL 62447 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) and the host Neoga Indians (Neoga, IL), saw St. Anthony's basketball squad wallop Neoga by a tally of 67-36.
With the victory, St. Anthony improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Mater Dei (Breese, IL) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 9-10. Mater Dei won 58-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Nokomis (Nokomis, IL)
Next up, the Indians confront the Farina South Central Cougars (Farina, IL) in a National Trail challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Neoga will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record.
