Minnesota High School Basketball - Superior can't hold off Cherry

The Cherry Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Superior Spartans to 51 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moose Lake/Willow River for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Cherry will battle a Rebels team coming off a 92-85 non-league win over North Woods (Cook, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 3-0.

The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record.
