Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE), 63-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wren upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Cane Bay (Summerville, SC) to play the Cobras in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Cobras come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Cane Bay won 63-50 in their recent non-league bout against Halls (Knoxville, TN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 63-50 non-league loss to Cane Bay (Summerville, SC).
