Wisconsin High School Basketball - The Prairie School nudges Catholic Memorial
December 29, 2023: Racine, WI 53402 The Prairie School Hawks (Racine, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Catholic Memorial Crusaders (Waukesha, WI), 55-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, The Prairie School upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Hawks host Martin Luther (Greendale, WI) to clash with the Spartans in a Metro Classic bout on Saturday, January 6. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Martin Luther lost 60-44 in their recent non-league bout against Stoughton (Stoughton, WI)
Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Arrowhead Warhawks (Hartland, WI) in a Classic Eight bout, on Thursday, January 4. Catholic Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Warhawks go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 79-41 non-league win over Edgewood (Madison, WI).
