Orion Chargers (Orion, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL), 63-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Orion upgrades its record to 15-12 on the season. The Chargers host Kewanee (Kewanee, IL) to clash with the Boilermakers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Boilermakers go into the bout with a record of 20-8.

Next up, the Storm clash with the Byron Tigers (Byron, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Bureau Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 15-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 23-2 record after their 91-47 league win over Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL).
