The Buford Yellowjackets basketball team (Lancaster, SC), was overwhelmed 68-45 in Friday's league battle with the host Central Eagles (Pageland, SC)

The Eagles now possess a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrew Jackson for a AA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Central will confront a Volunteers team coming off a 72-54 league win over North Central (Kershaw, SC). The Volunteers record now stands at 20-3.

The Yellowjackets (0-21) will now prepare for their battle against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Patriots come into the AA Region 5 battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, York Prep was overwhelmed by Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC), 67-44, in a non-league contest.
