Oklahoma High School Basketball - Bixby nudges El Reno
January 18, 2024: Bixby, OK 74008 Bixby Spartans (Bixby, OK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK), 77-72 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bixby upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Spartans host Choctaw (Choctaw, OK) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 6A District 4 bout on Friday, January 19. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 10-2.
Next up, the Indians clash with the Southeast Spartans (Oklahoma City, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. El Reno will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 98-49 non-league loss to Choctaw (Choctaw, OK).
