December 29, 2023: Manila, AR 72442 In Friday's non-league outing, the Caruthersville Tigers (Caruthersville, MO) basketball squad beat the host Manila Lions (Manila, AR), by a margin of 75-59.
The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Senath-Hornersville (Senath, MO). The Lions go into the Bootheel outing with a 3-4 record.
The Lions now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 2. Manila will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 18-4.
