January 19, 2024: George, IA 51237 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the George-Little Rock Mustangs (George, IA) and the visiting Gehlen Catholic Jays (Le Mars, IA), saw George-Little Rock's basketball squad overcome Gehlen Catholic by a tally of 70-53.
With the victory, George-Little Rock improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA) to confront the Comets in a Siouxland challenge on Monday, January 22. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Boyden-Hull lost 67-60 in their recent league challenge against Unity Christian (Orange City, IA)
Next up, the Jays confront the Western Christian Wolfpack (Hull, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Gehlen Catholic will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 71-66 non-league win over Blake (Minneapolis, MN).
