The Whittier Cardinals basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting El Rancho Dons to 50 in the Cardinals league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe for a Del Rio challenge on Friday, January 12. Whittier will play a Chiefs squad coming off a 78-65 league loss to California (Whittier, CA). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-19.

Next up, the Dons play the La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) in a Del Rio challenge, on Friday, January 12. El Rancho will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 41-37 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA).
