With an opportunity for the Brahmas in the top of the 5th inning, Freshman Trinity Garcia came in and pitched out of the jam. Garcia (1-0) finished the game and got the win after pitching the remaining 2 ? innings. An error in the bottom of he 5th pushed across the winning run for the Bulldogs. West Covina's offense was led by senior Maddy Tickey (2 for 4, double, RBI), junior Bella Montoya (2 for 2, double, SB, BB, 2 R, RBI), and junior Miranda Gil (2 for 3, R). The Bulldogs will face San Dimas at home on Thursday for a non-league contest.
