Roncalli Rebels (Indianapolis, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now sport a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they host Shelbyville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 12.

With the loss, Decatur Central falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Hawks host Greenwood (Greenwood, IN) to face the Woodmen in a Mid-State challenge on Tuesday, May 12. The Woodmen enter the challenge with a record of 11-7. Greenwood lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN)
