Texas High School Basketball - China Spring nudges Hico
December 16, 2011: China Spring, TX 76633 In Friday's non-league outing, the China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) basketball squad nipped the visiting Hico Tigers (Hico, TX), by a margin of 56-51.
The Cougars (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX). The Goats go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Groesbeck got by McGregor (McGregor, TX), 64-47, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Coleman for a 2A Region I District 6 outing on Friday, December 30. Hico will encounter a Bluecats squad coming off a 67-61 non-league win over Winters (Winters, TX). The Bluecats record now stands at 11-4.
