Louisiana High School Basketball - Block crushes LaSalle
January 13, 2012: Jonesville, LA 71343 Block Bears (Jonesville, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting LaSalle Tigers (Olla, LA), 86-41 in a league game.
In their next game, the Bears face the Montgomery Tigers (Montgomery, LA) in a 1A District 4 game, on Tuesday, January 17. Block will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 5-11 record after their 74-54 league loss to St. Mary (Natchitoches, LA).
With the defeat, LaSalle moves to 4-9 on the year. The Tigers host Northwood (Lena, LA) to face the Gators in a 1A District 4 game on Tuesday, January 17. The Gators enter the game with a record of 10-5. Northwood won 62-60 in their recent league game against St. Mary (Natchitoches, LA)
