Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Boys Latin Lakers (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting Severn Admirals (Severna Park, MD), saw Boys Latin's basketball squad hold off Severn by a count of 39-38.

With the victory, Boys Latin upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Archbishop Curley (Baltimore, MD) to play the Friars in a MIAA B challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Friars come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Archbishop Curley lost 60-36 in their recent league challenge against Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD)

Next up, the Admirals play the Friends Quakers (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA B challenge, on Friday, January 20. Severn will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record.
