Texas High School Basketball - Ellison winner over Bowie
December 30, 2011: Killeen, TX 76542 In Friday's non-league outing, the Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX), by a margin of 74-63.
The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Belton (Belton, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region II District 12 outing with a 4-15 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Braunfels for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 3. Bowie will play a Unicorns squad coming off a 60-47 non-league loss to Clark (San Antonio, TX). The Unicorns record now stands at 16-5.
