Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA), 66-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Walnut upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to San Dimas (San Dimas, CA) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 1-7. San Dimas lost 48-46 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA)
