Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Parkland Trojans (Allentown, PA), 54-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Scranton upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA) to play the Cavaliers/Classics in a Lackawanna 1 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cavaliers/Classics come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Scranton Prep won 46-33 in their recent league bout against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 75-49 non-league loss to Council Rock North (Newtown, PA).
