Illinois High School Basketball - Palatine trounced by Stevenson
January 28, 2012: Lincolnshire, IL 60069 The Stevenson Patriots trounced the visiting Palatine Pirates basketball team by a score of 65-44 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Patriots now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbard West for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. Stevenson will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 60-36 league win over Lyons (LaGrange, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 10-3.
The Pirates (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Broncos/Fillies come into the Mid-Suburban - West battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Barrington triumphed over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 46-43, in a league battle.
