Michigan High School Basketball - Whitmore Lake prevails East Jackson
December 9, 2011: Whitmore Lake, MI 48189 Whitmore Lake Trojans (Whitmore Lake, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Jackson Trojans (Jackson, MI), 50-42 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Whitmore Lake improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Morenci (Morenci, MI) to battle the Bulldogs in a Tri-County challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Trojans battle the Greenhills Gryphons (Ann Arbor, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 12. East Jackson will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 48-42 league loss to Lutheran (Westland, MI).
