The South Tahoe Vikings routed the visiting North Tahoe Lakers basketball team by a final score of 68-18 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Whittell Warriors (Zephyr Cove, NV) in a 3A/2A Mount Rose game, on Friday, January 27. South Tahoe will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 5-10 record after their 63-21 league loss to Sparks (Sparks, NV).

With the defeat, North Tahoe moves to 4-13 on the year. The Lakers travel to Loyalton (Loyalton, CA) to meet the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 26.
