In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Taft Raiders basketball team scored a decisive 70-44 triumph over the Highlands Owls.

In their next game, the Raiders confront the O'Connor Panthers (Helotes, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 match, on Wednesday, December 14. Taft will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record.
