Maryland High School Basketball - Edmondson-Westside prevails City College
February 3, 2012: Baltimore, MD 21229 Edmondson-Westside Red Storm (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting City College Black Knights (Baltimore, MD), 61-50 in a league bout.
With the win, Edmondson-Westside upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Red Storm travel to Baltimore Freedom Academy (Baltimore, MD) to encounter the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Black Knights encounter the Digital Harbor Rams (Baltimore, MD) in a Baltimore City Division I bout, on Tuesday, February 7. City College will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 48-46 league loss to Carver Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD).
