Oklahoma High School Basketball - Ardmore holds off Putnam City West
January 21, 2012: Ardmore, OK 73401 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ardmore Tigers (Ardmore, OK) and the visiting Putnam City West Patriots (Oklahoma City, OK), saw Ardmore's basketball squad hold off Putnam City West by a score of 46-44.
With the victory, Ardmore improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, OK) to play the Fighting Irish in a Freelance challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Bishop McGuinness lost 41-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Bartlesville (Bartlesville, OK)
Next up, the Patriots play the Mustang Broncos (Mustang, OK) in a Metro challenge, on Friday, January 27. Putnam City West will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 48-42 non-league loss to Deer Creek (Edmond, OK).
