Utah High School Basketball - Lone Peak prevails Riverton

January 13, 2012: Riverton, UT 84065

Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT), 57-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Lone Peak upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Knights host Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT) to play the Vikings in a 5A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Pleasant Grove won 47-43 in their recent league bout against Bingham (South Jordan, UT)

Next up, the Silverwolves play the American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT) in a 5A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Riverton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Cavemen go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 62-58 league win over Lehi (Lehi, UT).
