Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lemmon Cowboys (Lemmon, SD), 47-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Timber Lake upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers host Newell (Newell, SD) to play the Irrigators in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Irrigators go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Newell lost 79-44 in their recent league bout against Harding County (Buffalo, SD)

In their next game, the Cowboys face the Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] Bulldogs (Bowman, ND) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 13. Lemmon will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 57-44 non-league win over Glen Ullin/Hebron (Glen Ullin, ND).
