December 27, 2011: Buckeye, AZ 85326 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ) and the visiting Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ), saw Youngker's basketball squad knock off Independence by a score of 61-45.
With the victory, Youngker improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ) to battle the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Estrella Foothills lost 67-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Shorewood (Shoreline, WA)
Next up, the Patriots battle the Fountain Hills Falcons (Fountain Hills, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Independence will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 69-23 non-league win over Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ).
