Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County nudges Dayton

Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV), 68-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Pershing County upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV) to encounter the Nighthawks in a 3A/2A Lahontan bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Silver Stage lost 74-69 in their recent league bout against Silver State Academy/ROP (Yerington, NV)

Next up, the Dust Devils encounter the Silver State Academy/ROP Rams (Yerington, NV) in a 3A/2A Lahontan bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Dayton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 71-62 league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV).
