Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Williamsburg falls to West Branch

January 19, 2012: Morrisdale, PA 16858

The West Branch Warriors basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Williamsburg Blue Pirates to 62 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

With the victory, West Branch upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Curwensville (Curwensville, PA) to play the Golden Tide in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Golden Tide come into the bout with a record of 1-8. Curwensville lost 51-36 in their recent non-league bout against Elk County Catholic (St. Marys, PA)

Next up, the Blue Pirates play the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA) in a Inter County - North bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Williamsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Black Knights/Damsels come into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 76-37 league loss to Glendale (Flinton, PA).
