Nebraska High School Basketball - Gross Catholic fells Ralston
January 6, 2012: Ralston, NE 68127 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Gross Catholic Cougars (Omaha, NE) and the host Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE), saw Gross Catholic's basketball squad overcome Ralston by a score of 69-57.
With the victory, Gross Catholic improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE) to play the SkyHawks in a B District 2 challenge on Friday, January 13. The SkyHawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-2.
Next up, the Rams play the Waverly Vikings (Waverly, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Ralston will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 60-38 league loss to Norris (Firth, NE).
