Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Carter Lions (Rialto, CA), 46-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Serrano upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Diamondbacks host Kaiser (Fontana, CA) to encounter the Cats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Cats go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Kaiser won 51-26 in their recent non-league bout against Carter (Rialto, CA)

Next up, the Lions encounter the Cantwell-Sacred Heart Cardinals (Montebello, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Carter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
