Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chase Kats (Chase, KS) and the visiting Palco Roosters (Palco, KS), saw Chase's basketball squad hold off Palco by a score of 47-45.

With the victory, Chase improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Kats host LaCrosse (LaCrosse, KS) to play the Leopards in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. LaCrosse won 39-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS)

Next up, the Roosters play the Southern Cloud Warriors (Miltonvale, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Palco will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 57-43 non-league loss to Pike Valley (Scandia, KS).
