Madison Trojans (Madison, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL), 78-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Madison upgrades its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Centralia (Centralia, IL) to play the Orphans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Orphans come into the bout with a record of 11-11.

Next up, the Knights play the Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Metro-East Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 17-13 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 58-52 league loss to Immaculate Conception (Elmhurst, IL).
