December 1, 2011: Montebello, CA 90640 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Garfield Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 58-40 triumph over the Montebello Oilers.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 5. Garfield will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Dons enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 56-29 non-league loss to Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA).
With the defeat, Montebello moves to 0-1 on the year. The Oilers travel to La Serna (Whittier, CA) to face the Lancers in a non-league game on Friday, December 2. The Lancers enter the game with a record of 1-0. La Serna won 55-51 in their recent non-league game against La Mirada (La Mirada, CA)
