Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bensalem holds off Central Bucks South
January 21, 2012: Bensalem, PA 19020 Spectators at Saturday's non-league test between the Bensalem Fighting Owls (Bensalem, PA) and the visiting Central Bucks South Titans (Warrington, PA), witnessed Bensalem's basketball squad tip Central Bucks South by a margin of 67-66.
The Fighting Owls (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Haverford School (Haverford, PA). The Fords go into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Haverford School was tipped by Vaux (Philadelphia, PA), 64-56, in a non-league test.
The Titans now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Souderton for a Suburban One - Continental test on Tuesday, January 24. Central Bucks South will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 49-47 non-league loss to Pennsbury (Fairless Hills, PA). The Indians record now stands at 12-4.
