Drake/Anamoose Raiders (Drake, ND) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Max Cossacks (Max, ND), 54-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Drake/Anamoose upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND) to play the Sioux in a B District 11 bout on Thursday, January 19. The Sioux go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Westhope/Newburg won 74-53 in their recent non-league bout against Rolla (Rolla, ND)

In their next game, the Cossacks face the Parshall Braves (Parshall, ND) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 24. Max will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record.
