December 27, 2013: Grant, LA 70644 The Fairview Panthers routed the visiting East Beauregard Trojans basketball team by a final score of 74-51 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Hathaway Hornets (Jennings, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 3. Fairview will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 5-13 record after their 61-49 non-league loss to Holden (Holden, LA).
With the defeat, East Beauregard moves to 4-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA) to encounter the Warriors in a 1A District 4 test on Friday, January 3. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 9-6. Hamilton Christian lost 61-48 in their recent non-league test against Iowa (Iowa, LA)
