Medina Bobcats (Medina, TX) supporters were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Harper Longhorns (Harper, TX), 64-44 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Medina improves its record to 10-16 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Nueces Canyon (Barksdale, TX) to play the Panthers in a 1A-1 Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, February 11. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-14.

Next up, the Longhorns play the Mason Punchers (Mason, TX) in a 1A-1 Region IV District 27 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Harper will attempt to improve on its 18-8 season record. The Punchers come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 64-24 league win over Center Point (Center Point, TX).
