MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Clear Brook Wolverines (Friendswood, TX), 56-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, MacArthur upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Generals travel to King (Houston, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 23. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-1. King won 90-23 in their recent non-league bout against Aldine (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 26. Clear Brook will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 63-45 non-league loss to Judson (Converse, TX).
