Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) and the host Friendship Christian (Raleigh, NC), saw Franklin Academy's basketball squad knock off Friendship Christian by a count of 39-29.

With the victory, Franklin Academy upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Kestrel Heights (Durham, NC) to play the Hawks in a 1A Conference 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 14. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-6.
