Illinois High School Basketball - Glenwood nudges Triad
December 10, 2013: Troy, IL 62294 Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Triad Knights (Troy, IL), 57-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Glenwood upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Titans host Lincoln (Lincoln, IL) to clash with the Railsplitters in a Central State Eight bout on Friday, December 13. The Railsplitters go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Lincoln won 59-23 in their recent league bout against Taylorville (Taylorville, IL)
Next up, the Knights clash with the Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Friday, December 13. Triad will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 50-39 non-league win over Freeburg (Freeburg, IL).
